Moving Timeline 2 of 5

Hopefully we have time to set up and plan for our move. Sometimes life doesn't afford us that luxury so the steps we outlined in the first part of our timeline may need to be scrunched into the second part of our timeline. The second phase represents a critical part in the move process so the frustrating and mandatory tasks don't pile up during the last couple days before the move.

Moving Timeline 1 of 5

Everyone knows that moving can be a bit stressful. What most people don't know is that this stress can be limited or alleviated altogether with careful planning. If we don't take the time to prepare for a relocation, just as in other endeavors when we fail to plan, we are ultimately walking into a stress trap. The most common question the operators here at Big Boy Movers hear is the, "What can I do to be ready for the movers?" or in other words, "What can I do to make this as quick and painless for me as possible?" As a result of these inquiries Big Boy Movers has decided to put together a moving timeline to help customers eliminate the headache and anxiety from this strenuous process.

What's in a name?

Moving to Utah?  Everyone needs help every once in a while.  How does that song go?  "Lean on me, when you're not strong, and I'll be a friend, I'll help you carry on."  That's what we do; we represent the people that you can lean on.  There's a problem though, do you really want to lean on a Nate? or Adam? or how about a Kemp?  Kemp sounds like some sort of fungus and nobody wants to lean on a Kemp/fungus.  In order to make this a more appealing prospect I've given all of our movers nicknames:

Kemp - The Original Big Boy
Adam - Captain Big Boy
Garrett - Big Hussle Boy (Hus)
Derick - Little Big Boy
Nate - Bad Boy
Tony - Lover Boy
Ben - Always a Big Boy
Chris - Never a Big Boy
Matt - Build a Boy
Marc - Lost Boy
Vahid - Home Boy

Now our customers can call in and request these movers by name, "Can I get a Little Big Boy and a Home Boy?"  I for one would much rather lean on a home boy than on a Vahid.

We hope that every customer has had a great experience with our service.  We know that 100% satisfaction is regretfully unrealistic but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be a company's goal.  We strive to hit that goal at the start of each move, day, week, month, year, and especially when we established our company.  Big Boy Movers will continue to make adjustments and train the best Big Boys possible.

Start of the BBM Blog

As the best up-and-coming Utah moving company in Utah we decided that it's time to enter the blogging world.  We've passed the year mark since our founding and have tripled the amount of jobs we had completed at this time last year.  As Utah movers we service the Salt Lake City and Provo areas starting in Bountiful and extending down to Payson.  We continue to maintain a five star rating with our customers and always go out of our way to satisfy the needs of our customers.  Let us know how we can help and then drop us a review.  Thanks to everyone who has made Big Boy Movers possible.
